Complete Reroof And Fitting A Roof Light

Complete Reroof And Fitting A Roof Light

Due to this being a reroof, we were sure to adhere to the BS5534 standards. This vital for a renowned company like Synergy. This was a very rewarding job out in Ramsey. we had to strip off all previous slate, batten, and also spray foam. The spray foam was popular a few years ago and was sold as a solution to leaking roofs without having to deal with roofers, the flaw in this solution is that you are stopping the water after it has already got through the roof covering itself ! Secondly, it makes it very difficult to undertake any repairs on the roof as all the slates are stuck down ! Once all this prep work had been complete, it was time to lay the new felt, batten, and new slate tiles.

Once the tiles were in place the next step was to lay them, and the end product is a thing of beauty!

Yet another fantastic job from the team and the customer was over the moon. After a conversation with the customer, they had wanted to go ahead with installing a roof light along with a fibreglass roof around it.

As you can see from the from the progress, its all about good prep! the finished product left the customer in awe, and was ecstatic with both, his new roof and new roof light. Another Fantastic job from the team!
